Catholic Education Week

Dear Centre for Learning Families,

This week we join Catholic school communities across Alberta in celebrating Catholic Education Week and the gift of faith-filled education. This year’s theme, The Power of the Holy Spirit, reminds us that Catholic education is a gift we are called to nurture, share, and support. I ask that this week you join our school community in praying for our students, staff, families, parishes and Catholic schools throughout the week.

Ms. Joachim, our school faith lead shares: “Welcome to Catholic Education Week, students! This week is all about celebrating you and the amazing gift of Catholic education. Guided by our theme, "Pilgrims of Hope," we are invited to walk through this week with big hearts, sharing God’s love, mercy, and kindness with everyone around us. Catholic Education Week is a special time to celebrate how our school nurtures not only our minds and learning, but also our hearts and spirits—helping us grow in faith and in a deeper friendship with Jesus. Get ready to join in on the celebrations, give a big thank-you to your teachers, friends, and families, and see how you can be a beacon of hope and joy in our school every single day!

This Thursday, October 22, students, staff and families are invited to wear blue as a visible show of support for Catholic education.  Thank you for your prayers, generosity and continued support of Catholic education.

Yours in Christ,

Mr. Mike Jerrett
