- Start-Right Parent Guide: This guide is designed for families who are new to online learning, but it's also a valuable resource for anyone navigating the challenges of learning from home. Covering key topics such as your role as a learning partner, creating structure and accountability, providing oversight and feedback, and supporting productive struggle, the guide offers practical recommendations and reflective questions to help you start-right on your learning journey.
- Orientation: If you registered your student for an Online and/or Print-Based course they must complete our online Orientation course. This mandatory course is designed to provide students and parents with an introduction to Canvas, our Learning Management System, and it helps to prepare students for online learning. Information will be sent to you during the week of August 31. To be ready for this course, please ensure you meet our Technical Requirements - The Centre for Learning@HOME. This course includes the login information you will need for accessing the Online classes and must be completed by both students and parents during orientation week.

CFL Events and Activities
CFL hopes you’ll join us at any one of our events and activities including our Welcome Back Picnics.
We provide opportunities for students of all ages to participate in a wide range of events and activities across Alberta. There are over 40 activities per month—about 500 per year—available to our families to enhance our students’ education experience.
