Start-Right Parent Guide:  This guide is designed for families who are new to print-based or online learning, but it's also a valuable resource for anyone navigating the challenges of learning from home. Covering key topics such as your role as a learning partner, creating structure and accountability, providing oversight and feedback, and supporting productive struggle, the guide offers practical recommendations and reflective questions to help you start-right on your learning journey.

CFL Events and Activities:

CFL hopes you’ll join us at any one of our events and activities including our Welcome Back Picnics.

We provide opportunities for students of all ages to participate in a wide range of events and activities across Alberta. There are over 40 activities per month—about 500 per year—available to our families to enhance our students’ education experience.
