PUBLIC NOTICE

INTENTION TO PURCHASE NON-SCHOOL BUILDING

(Pursuant to Section 190 of the Education Act)

Notice is hereby given that The Board of Trustees of The Christ the Redeemer Catholic Separate School Division intends to purchase a non-school building located at #200-109 Southbank Blvd, Okotoks, AB T1S 0G1.

Funding for this acquisition will be drawn from reserve funds; no borrowing or debenture debt will be incurred for this purchase.

Public Notice Period & Electors’ Right to Petition:

  • Posting Date: Tuesday, October 6, 2026
  • End of Public Notice Period: October 20, 2026
  • Petition Deadline: November 4, 2026

 Pursuant to Section 190 of the Education Act and the Petitions and Public Notices Regulation, electors of the school division have the right to petition the Board regarding this proposal. Any petition must strictly comply with the requirements set out in the Petitions and Public Notices Regulation and must be filed with the Director of Corporate Services no later than 3:00 p.m. on November 4, 2026.
