Welcome to our Home Education (Parent Directed) program. We encourage you to look through the following information to ensure that you are ready for the school to begin in September.

- Orientation: If you registered your student for an Online and/or Print-Based course they must complete our online Orientation course. The course is designed to provide students and parents with an introduction to Canvas, our Learning Management System, and it helps to prepare students for success. Information will be sent to you during the week of August 25. To be ready for this course, please ensure you meet our Technical Requirements - The Centre for Learning@HOME. This course includes the login information you will need for accessing the Online and/or Print-Based classes and must be completed by both students and parents.

For the 2025-2026 school year, there will be 5 opportunities for reimbursement submission:

We provide opportunities for students of all ages to participate in a wide range of events and activities across Alberta. There are over 40 activities per month—about 500 per year—available to our families to enhance our students’ education experience.
